Get more information regarding the characteristics and distribution of benthic habitats present inside the Columbretes Islands Marine Reserve with the objective of Develop a bionomic map that covers the total extent. The complementary objective is the realization of the benthic cartography. It is intended to achieve location and subsequent georeferencing of the upwelling of gases present in the environment of the volcanic archipelago that forms The study area of this campaign. Associated with this objective is intended to know the Bacterial community in the area of gaseous upwellings and a physicochemical characterization of these areas.

Multidisciplinary cruise: Sampling physical and chemical variables that will: - Study thermohaline characteristics, kinematics, dynamics and biology of the eastern half of the Gulf of Cadiz - Establish relationships between climate, hydrology and hydrodynamics and the early stages of development of the species associated with the platform. - Provide data to feed global and regional numerical models. - Generate and distribute a database for the evolution of the marine climate and its resources.

La información contenida en este conjunto de datos, corresponde a los puntos de buceo de los censos de biodiversidad realizados entre el 30 de Junio y el 14 de Julio en la campaña NIS_LIC_MENORCA_0721, con el objetivo de cartografiar la presencia, abundancia y distribución de Especies Alóctonas e Invasoras (EAI) en el LIC del canal de Menorca, así como el conjunto de especies presentes en los diferentes hábitats muestreados (praderas de Posidonia e infralitoral rocoso). Se trata de la representación de la distribución espacial de los puntos de muestreo a lo largo de las costas de Mallorca y Menorca que quedan dentro del LIC del canal de Menorca (LIC ESZZ16002) Se trata de un conjunto de datos compuesto por elementos puntuales, donde cada elemento representa una estación de buceo. Cada objeto tiene asociada una serie de variables alfanuméricas como son el ID del buceo, el número de transecto, la fecha, la isla, la localidad, la zona, las coordenadas, la rugosidad, la pendiente, la temperatura, la visibilidad, la profundidad máxima y mínima y la orientación (dirección en la que se realizó el muestreo desde el punto de inicio, siendo este cada una de las coordenadas). La información geográfica recogida se almacenan en una base de datos espaciales. Estos trabajos se han financiado gracias al Proyecto LIFE IP INTEMARES (LIFE-IP INTEMARES - Integrated, Innovative and Participatory Management for N2000 network in the Marine Environment - LIFE15 IPE/ES/000012). Este proyecto integrado tiene el reto de sentar las bases para gestionar de forma eficaz los espacios marinos de la Red Natura 2000 y completar los trabajos y avances impulsados en el marco del proyecto LIFE+ INDEMARES, que logró dar un gran paso en materia de declaración de nuevos espacios.

La información contenida en este conjunto de datos es un ráster con la reflectividad de la zona de estudio, a 15 m de resolución. La zona que comprenden los datos proporcionados abarca la zona de Volcanes de Fango del Golfo de Cádiz (LIC ESZZ12002), encuadrado entre las coordenadas de latitud 36º35,98’N y 35º50,54’N, y de longitud 006º51,65’W y 007º27,79’W. Para ello, se han reprocesado con nuevo software, técnicas y algoritmos los datos generados en el proyecto LIFE+ INDEMARES (campañas oceanográficas INDEMARES CHICA1011 y 0412) integrándose con otros provenientes de proyectos ejecutados por el Grupo de Geociencias Marinas del Instituto Español de Oceanografía como son: ISUNEPCA (ISUNEPCA0616, 0618 y 0619), INPULSE (INPULSE0719) y EEMMs (CIRCASUR2020). Esta integración y posterior procesado y análisis de los datos ha mejorado sustancialmente la calidad de los datos antecedentes (año 2014), ya que ha permitido mejorar la continuidad espacial y la resolución del campo profundo del LIC (> 800 m de profundidad) hasta obtener una resolución homogénea en todo el LIC (15 m). Este conjunto de información (reflectividad) se obtiene juntamente con las batimetrías originales. La información geográfica resultante se almacena en una base de datos espaciales. Los trabajos de reprocesado se han financiado gracias al Proyecto LIFE IP INTEMARES (LIFE-IP INTEMARES - Integrated, Innovative and Participatory Management for N2000 network in the Marine Environment - LIFE15 IPE/ES/000012). Este proyecto integrado tiene el reto de sentar las bases para gestionar de forma eficaz los espacios marinos de la Red Natura 2000 y completar los trabajos y avances impulsados en el marco del proyecto LIFE+ INDEMARES, que logró dar un gran paso en materia de declaración de nuevos espacios.

The objective of the project RADIALES, started in 1990, aims at “understanding and modelling the response of the marine ecosystem to the sources of temporal variability in oceanographic and planktonic components, focusing on those factors and processes affecting biological production and potentially altering the ecosystem services”. This project is the oldest multidisciplinary ocean observation initiative still active in Spain.
