    This cruise continues with the line started in previous years cruises with the general operational target of the registration of oceanographic parameters and obtaining water samples and various types of suitable and sufficient plankton for the achievement of the following specific objectives: 1-Determine the influence of the hydrographic scenario on the structure, distribution and condition of larval populations of large and medium pelagic in the Balearic Sea, with special attention to Atlantic bluefin tuna 3-Evaluate the reliability of predictions of such models based on the historical data series available to date. 2-Expand the database for the development of habitat models for laying of the target species, both models based on data taken in situ by hydrographic profiles 4-Calculate a Larval Index for the estimation of the biomass of the reproductive stocks of the genus Thunnus in the Balearic Sea. 5-Improve knowledge about growth, trophic ecology (predator predator interactions) and the genetic structure of larval populations of bluefin tuna and related species in the Balearic Sea. 6- Improve the knowledge of the processes that determine planktonic productivity in the Balearic Sea 7-Improve the intercalibration of quantitative sampling carried out with various plankton samplers. 8- Determine, through the use of scientific sonar MS70, the distribution of breeding schools of bluefin tuna in the Balearic Sea 9- Characterize in detail, determining their abundance, biomass and geometry, through the use of scientific sonar MS70, schools of broodstock red tuna in areas of high concentration of laying 10- Determine, through the use of the scientific probe EK80, the distribution of the potential trophic resources of tuna and related species in the Balearic Sea
